Before you get started, please read the following to see if you are eligible for the Civic Foundation Scholarship.
Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a graduating high school senior planning to attend a 4-year college or university full-time
- Be a member of Civic Federal Credit Union (Civic)**
- The applicant's membership will be verified before the applicant can proceed to the Full Application Portal. Please allow two business days for this to be completed.
- Have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Submit copies of your official transcripts
- Two references (uploaded by the reference, not the student)
- One must be from a school counselor or teacher
- Cannot be a parent, legal guardian, or immediate family member
Applicants who begin the process too close to the deadline may not have time to complete the application.
**Being a member of State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) does not meet the eligibility requirement for this scholarship program.
Civic employees, directors and/or family members, or members of any Scholarship Selection Committees are not eligible for these scholarships.
